Carl Sagan (probably) once said “Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known”. I believe that there’s something incredible to be found, wherever you look.
Something Incredible is the home for long-form videos and stories that explore the wonders of the world around us. From space, to engineering, history, biology, and everything in between.
Science Baby
I didn’t take too well to maternity leave. After a lifetime of measuring my value by my productivity, I struggled to sit still. So with 1000s of photos and videos of my newborn on my phone, a google search full of anxiety, and a passing proficiency for video editing, I started making funny little videos about the ins and outs of parenting. Turns out, lots of people wanted to hear what Science Baby had to say, and even though he’s not a baby any more, we’re still connecting with a community of new parents and interested layfolk.
Art
In the rare moments of spare time I get between writing and producing for clients, and updating my own videos and blog, I dabble in a few artistic pursuits. Favouite media are pen and ink, watercolour, and digital design. You can explore my artwork and even buy some via my Etsy store Incredible Somethings.
